Simple DC circuits. Ohm’s law V=I×R. Voltage volts, current amperes, resistance ohms. A 6-ohm resistor with 12-volt supply carries 2 amperes. Two 6-ohm resistors in series total 12 ohms giving 1 amp at 12 V. Two 6-ohm resistors in parallel equivalent 3 ohms giving 4 amps total at 12 V, each branch 2 amps. Power P=V×I; single resistor dissipates 24 watts. Assume ideal wires and constant-voltage supply.
